Girls Golf place 2nd at Districts

The Girls golf team placed second at the C1 District championship Tuesday at Hidden Valley Golf Course.  The girls shot a season low team total of 401 for their runner-up finish to Lincoln Christian who shot 391.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who carded a personal best 92 to finish in 2nd place overall.  Sophia Fahleson shot a 94 to place 3rd and Grace Fahleson shot a 105 to finish 9th.  Natalie Barrett completed the team scoring with a 110 to help the Lady Warriors qualify for State for the seventh straight year!  State begins next Monday&nbsp

MS VB Results

Middle school Volleyball won all three of their games against St. John Seward on Tuesday with C and B team taking it in 3 sets and A team finishing in 2.  This weekend A and B teams competed in the Lincoln Christian tournament.  A team beat Christian to win Championship in the A division.

HS Volleyball Results

The Warriors went 4-1 in the tournament and made it to the Championship, after defeating Auburn 2-0, and Omaha Gross 2-0, before taking on C-1 #3 Wahoo. Both teams came in to the tournament with just 1 loss on the season, but the Warriors of Wahoo took charge and won 2-0. Our LL Warriors have the opportunity to face them again Tuesday evening in a match up at Wahoo at 7:00pm. The Reserves will play at 5:00pm and the JV at 6:00pm.

LL opens tourney with 2 big wins

Our Class C-1 #2 Varsity VB team opened the Ashland-Greenwood tournament with 2 big wins against Plattsmouth and Class B No. 5 Ralston on Sept. 28th. Plattsmouth Highlights were Buss with 15 kills, Hope with 24 assists, Erin with 10 digs & Hayley with 2 aces. Ralston Highlights were Buss with 25 kills & 2 Blocks, Hope with 32 assists & 3 aces and Erin with 23 digs. Erin Williams had 33 digs, helping her reach 1,000 career digs.

Cross Country Results 9/28

Our MS and HS competed at the LL Invitational CC Meet on Thursday, 9/28. Tanner Lebo (19:05) and Noah L'Heureux (19:06) continue  to improve upon their personal career best times. Lebo and L'Heureux paced the Warriors with their 11th and 12th place finishes respectively with a team 5th (out of 10) place finish. Hannah Fitzsimmons (25:36) and Kayla Steinbauer (26:04) were top finishers for the girls.  Due to injuries, the Warrior girls did not have a team score. Elisha Meyer (22:03) also finished with a career personal best.

The Girls Golf team finished second in the Lincoln Christian Invitational at Hidden Valley golf course on Thursday.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who shot a personal best 93 to finish 3rd overall.  Sophia Fahleson shot a 96 and finished 5th. Natalie Barrett and Grace Fahleson both shot a 114 to complete the team scoring.

Cross Country Results from UNK Meet 9/25

Noah L'Heureux (19:11) and Tanner Lebo (19:16) ran personal career records leading the Warrior boys to a 16th (out of 39) place finish at the UNK cross country meet in Kearney.  The Lady Warriors also finished 16th (out of 19) as Kayla Steinbauer (23:46) and Hannah Fitzsimmons (24:14) posted season bests leading the girls' team. Calisa Boren (29:52) and Jack Rolland (21:30) each posted personal records with Colten Meyer (21.52) running a season best.

On Saturday, 9/23, the HS Girls Golf team headed off to compete in the Centennial Conference Invitational and the girls showed up ready to compete! Grace Fahleson was heading for a super round and got tired and lost her momentum.  She was 7 over through 12 holes then went 23 over on the last 6.  Still she lowered her best to 102.  Sophia broke 100 for the first time shooting a 93!  Logan lowered her best by 1 to a 95.  Pretty good stuff for a team that only has 4 against teams with 5!  Hope this is a good start to the last few weeks of the season.
