Congratulations to the 6th Grade LL Champions Girls BB team on their 1st place finish at the Seward Showcase this weekend in Seward! Well done!

LL MS Basketball Tourney Results

Congrats to all our LL MS Basketball teams on great games all weekend at the LL Middle School Basketball Tournament (2/2-3)! Here were the results of the weekend: MS A and B Girls teams both beat Lincoln Christian and Bishop Neumann to finish 1st in each division. MS A Boys won their first round vs Wilber Clatonia, but fell a little short in the Championship game vs. ABA. They finished 2nd.

MS Girls Basketball Captures Roundball Championship

Congratulations to the Middle School Girl's A-Team on their 36th Annual All-Lutheran Schools Roundball Championship run this past weekend in Norfolk. The last time LL won this tournament was in 2014 and included our current high school seniors. The Lady Warriors defeated St. John's Battle Creek, Omaha Concordia, and Trinity, Fremont by an average margin of more than 20 points each game. The girls also brought home the Sportsmanship Award along with a Free-Throw Contest 1st Place finish.

LIT Varsity Basketball Results

Congratulations goes out to the HS Basketball teams on the LIT tournament this past weekend at CUNE. The Girls BB team finished as champions for the 3rd year in a row. On Friday night, the beat Lutheran High NE 55-31 and on Saturday, clinched the title with a 57-30 win over Concordia, Omaha.

The boys had an exciting game on Friday night, going into a triple overtime vs. Concordia, Omaha. They fell to Omaha 68-65. On Saturday the boys bounced back with a big win over Heartland Lutheran 70-20. 

MS Boys A Tournament

The 8th grade boys finished 2nd place in the Syracuse Boys basketball tournament on Saturday. In the first game Lincoln Lutheran defeated Fall City 38-22. during the second quarter Lincoln Lutheran outscored Fall City 18-0.  In the Championship game against Auburn the Warriors continued their streak of holding teams scoreless in at least one quarter of play by taking a 12-0 lead after the first quarter. In the end the Bulldogs defeated the Warriors in a hard fought contest. On the day 9 Warrior players scored during the tournament. Coach Duitsman

Lincoln Christian MS BB Tourney

Congratulations to our 7th grade Boys Basketball team who took 1st place at the LC tournament this past Saturday (12/2) The boys won both rounds finishing 34-18 vs. Bishop Neumann and 31-25 vs Wahoo. Congratulations also goes to the 8th grade team who took 2nd place. They won their first round match vs. Neumann 29-14, but fell short vs a tough Wahoo team Wahoo 33-LL 15.

The next games for both teams will be at the Syracuse Tournament on Saturday, 12/16. 

Gabby Mason Signs with CUNE

Congratulations to Gabby Mason! She signed to play Basketball for the Bulldogs at Concordia University, Nebraska. The signing ceremony took place at Lincoln Lutheran on Monday, November 13. Gabby Mason shared the signing ceremony with her current and future teammate Mackenzie Koepke. The girls were surrounded by their family, friends and coaches. We want to wish Gabby God's richest blessings on her college career at CUNE.

Mackenzie Koepke signs with CUNE

Congratulations to Mackenzie Koepke! She signed to play Basketball for the Bulldogs at Concordia University, Nebraska. The signing cermony took place at Lincoln Lutheran on Monday, November 13. Mackenzie shared the time with current and future teammate Gabby Mason. Both girls were surrounded by family, friends and coaches. We want to wish Mackenzie God's richest blessings on her college career at CUNE!
