Football Team Award

The Lincoln Lutheran Summer Football team participated in a team camp at SDSU in Brooking, SD. During the final scrimmage session, LL finished in 2nd place in our group of 4 teams falling only to a 5A school from Minnesota. During the consolation round LL defeated the other 3 teams in our group with a great defensive effort! At the end of the camp, the SDSU coaching staff awards an Exceptional Team award to the team that displayed sportsmanship and good behavior throughout camp and competed hard in every drill/scrimmage.

Rathe & Lavicky Sign with NWU

Congratulations to seniors Sam Rathe and James Lavicky who signed to play football for the Prairiewolves of Nebraska Weslyan University. The signing ceremony took place in the Lincoln Lutheran gym, Thursday, 2/8. Families and friends for both Sam and James were present as were the Lincoln Lutheran Football coaches. We want to wish Sam and James God's richest blessing on their college careers at NWU!

Cole Schaedel & Logan Kreizel Sign with CUNE

Congratulations goes out to both Cole Schaedel and Logan Kreizel, as they both signed to play football for the Concordia University, NE Bulldogs! The signing ceremony took place in the Lincoln Lutheran Main Gym on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Noah and Logan were joined by their families and friends as well as LL Coach Greg Nelson and Concordia's Head Football Coach Patrick Daberkow. We want to wish God's richest blessings on their college careers at CUNE!

FB Super State and All-District

Congratulations to Logan Kreizel and Cole Schaedel for being named to the 1st Team All-State C-2 and to Logan Kreizel for being named to 2nd Team Super State. Congrats to Ethan Rickords, James Lavicky, Cayden Bergt and Colby Bliss who received All State Honorable Mentions.

LJS All-City Fall Sports Teams

Congratulations to the following Fall Sports athletes who were named to the Lincoln Journal Star's All-City teams:

Marriah Buss - VB 1st Team - Honorary Captain; Hope Leimbach - VB 2nd Team; Cole Schaedel - FB Offensive Team; Logan Kreizel - FB Defensive Team

State Football

The 2017 Varsity Football team was one game away from playing for the C-2 State Championship. They beat North Platte St. Patricks 35-0, Arcadia Loup-City 21-12 and lost to Centennial 33-20.  They ended up with a final ranking of 6th place in the Journal Star. and 5th place in the Omaha World Herald. Congrats on a great season.

2017 Fall All Conference

Congratulations to Marriah Buss, Hope Leimbach and Erin Williams who were named to the Volleyball All Conference West and to Rebecca Ziems and Kayla Ernstmeyer who were named Honorable Mention. 

Congratulations also goes out to Logan Kriezel, Cole Schaedel, Jake Wendland, James Lavicky, Cayden Bergt, & Colby Bliss who were named Football All Conference West. Ethan Rickords, Noah Stueber, Sam Rathe, Dalton Paxton, & Joe Admiraal all earned Honorable Mentions.

Football Results

LL play Centennial on Friday, Nov. 10th in the C-2 Semi-finals. They played tough but lost 33-20. This team should be very proud of themselves as the senior class went from a losing record their freshman year to making it farther in the playoffs than any other team in school history. 

All Five Fall Sports qualify for State!

It has been an amazing fall sports season for the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors. For the first time in school history, all five of the fall sports teams have qualified for State competition, with our girls Softball team winning State!
