JV Golf Results

Without any home field advantage, the Warrior golfers squared off against our practice neighbors, Waverly at Crooked Creek Golf Club Thursday afternoon.  What a difference a day makes.  Wednesday was windy, wet and cold… Thursday was windy… but it was also sunny and warm, a great day to be out and playing golf and the scores showed.  Improving 9 strokes in a day, the Warriors were able to win the dual shooting a team 193 to Waverly’s 199.  For the second day in a row Kyle Luebbe earned medalist honors shooting the best sc

HS Boys JV Golf Results

It was not an easy day with the wind, rain and cool temps but the JV golf team did a great job in beating our cross town rivals, Lincoln Christian, 203 to 210 in a dual at Crooked Creek.  Kyle Luebbe took home medalist honors, shooting the lowest score of the day!  Tomorrow the JV hosts Waverly @ 4:00 at Crooked Creek, I’m looking for a little more of the same, another Warrior win!

Pius X Boys Golf Tourney Results

After winning this event last year with a team score of 332, one stroke better than Elkhorn South.  This year’s team finished 19 strokes better, scoring an amazing 313… second week in a row with that total on a MUCH tougher course.  However, even with the great play we came up a single stroke short and lost to a very good York team, who shot a 312 (a measly 37 strokes better than last year).  Wouldn’t be surprised if York won Class B this year, very solid team.

HS Boys Golf

The Warrior’s golf team won its inaugural meet of the 2017 season shooting a team 313, second best team score in history and only 3 strokes behind the record 310 set in 2009.  Individually, all Warriors shot under 85 and finished inside the top 15 with an amazing 78.25 scoring average.  All the hard work this group has put in during the summers and fall is going to pay off this year.  This was an excellent start of what should be a very successful year.
