HS Track Results from Tuesday

Congrats to the HS Track team on fine performances at the Thunderbird Invitational on Tuesday. The girls team 1st place with 125 team points, and boys improved on their scoring, with 31 points at this meet. Some of the top competitors were as follows: Kacey Kohlhof winning the 100m and 200m, Mackenzie Koepke winning the high jump with a jump of 5'1". and Josie Puelz,taking 1st in her very first meet competing in the pole vault clearing 9'0"!

HS Track Results - Thurs. 3/31

The HS Track teams competed at the Norris Invitational meet on Thursday. The athletes had good showings despite the tough competition and poor weather conditions! The girls track team still finished second as a team taking the Runner-up plaque! The Warriors scored a total of 107 points. Rebecca Ziems won the 400m and Kate Staab won the 300 m hurdles. Kacey Kohlhof took 2nd in the 100m and 200. Avery Blahauvietz finished 2nd in the shot put and Josie Puelz second in the 100 m hurdles.All 3 LL relay teams finished in second place as well.

HS Track Results - Sat, March 19

Congrats to both the girls and boys H.S. Track teams as they went 1st and 2nd at the NWU Indoor Meet on Saturday! All of the athletes had fine performances, especially for this early in the season. Both teams had many medals for the day, of special note everyone on the girls team earned points for the team! The girls took 5 of the gold medals, and the boys team had 2. This included Kacey Kohhof winning the 55 m, Avery Blahauvietz taking 1st in the shot put, and Rachel Ziems in the 800m. The 1600 and 3200 m. relay teams also took 1st place.

Avery Blahauvietz Signs with Morningside

Congratulations to Avery Blahauvietz! She signed to compete in Track & Field for the Mustangs at Morningside College. The signing ceremony took place in the Lincoln Lutheran Media Center on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Avery was surrounded by family, friends and coaches who have been a part of her support system through the years. We want to wish Avery God's richest blessing on her college career at Morningside!

State Track Results

As our theme for the season is FINISH from 2 Tim. 4:7, and that they did, with great effort, outstanding performances, all while being strong Christian witnesses. More records broken, many medals received, three 1st place finishes - gold medals, and the girls capturing the State Runner-up trophy with a very exciting finish! Wow! As coaches, we could not have asked them for anything better - these athletes came to perform! Read on for more detail.

LL Girls/Boys Track Teams Win Districts

DISTRICT CHAMPS!! Both HS Track teams won the District Championship plaques yesterday. A school record number of 19 athletes have qualified for the State Meet in Omaha on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23. All members of both teams need to be commended on their outstanding efforts and performances as well as their  support for each other throughout the day! They represented Lincoln Lutheran in a very positive, supportive, Christian manner! They will be in all but two running events and both teams qualified all three relays!

HS Track are DISTRICT CHAMPS

DISTRICT CHAMPS!! Both HS Track teams won the District Championship plaques yesterday. A school record number of 19 athletes have qualified for the State Meet in Omaha on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23. Congratulations to all the athletes!

HS Conference Track Results

Conference Runner-Ups! Congrats to the H.S. Girls Track Team for finishing 2nd in the Centennial Conference Track meet! A great accomplishment for such a competitive conference! The boys team finished 5th out of the 11 schools, so they did very well also.

Congrats to Harrison Martin, Ryan Volin and Kacey Kohlhof

The HS Track meet on Tuesday, May 5th at Fremont Bergan went well again as more personal bests were met and there were a couple exciting school records broken! First Harrison Martin broke the 110 high hurdles record with an outstanding time of 14.7 in the finals, bringing his record time down even further. And a very old record, held since 2001, went down by Ryan Volin with winning the 800m run in a record time of 2:02.5. Kacey Kohlhof had her own time broken in the 100m dash. Her time of 12.2 will be changed on the record board as well.

Congrats HS Track Teams!

The HS Track teams were both successful at the Cougar Invitational on Tuesday, April 28th. The girls have won their 4th meet in a row and the boys did great with a runner-up finish. There were many outstanding performances, with personal bests and a new school record by the 3200 m relay team with a winning time of 8:42.98. Team members are Austin Peterson, Logan Kreizel, Caleb Ziems, and Ryan Volin. The other top finishers were: Justin Parrish -200m dash, Logan Kreizel - High Jump, Harrison Martin - 110 H Hurdles, Josh Wendland, - 300m Hurdles.
