Kory Kohlhof places in the 200m

 Congratulations to Kory Kohlhof as he qualified for State in the 100m and 200m. He qualified for the finals in the 200m, where he earned the 7th place medal in this event. Kory has the new school records this year in the 100m with a time of 10.8 and in the 200m with a time of 22.3. He also was a member of the 400m relay team that set a new school record with a time of 44.7.

District Track Results

The track team went up against some very strong competition in their Class B Districts, as many medaled, but only Kory Kohlhof will advance to the State Meet as he qualified by winning the 200 m and taking second place in the 100m. Other medalists were Adam Melius, taking 4th place in the triple jump. Ethan Bruggeman medaling in the 3200 m run, earning 5th place. Claire Dull took 5th in the triple jump and 6th in the 200 m. Zach Wiemer was awarded 6th place in the shot put, and Sam Malan earning 6th place in the 800 m run.

Congratulations to Kory Kohlhof on advancing to the State Track Meet

Although many athletes from the Track team medaled at Districts yesterday, Kory was the only qualifier for the State meet this year. He will be competing on Friday, May, 18th and hopefully at the finals on Saturday, May 19th. The State Meet is held at Omaha Burke Stadium.

HS Track Results - Conference

The H.S. Track team faced some very stiff competition on Saturday at the Centennial Conference Meet in David City. Even though neither team had any first place finishes, they won numerous medals by placing in the top 6 in their events. The members of the boys 400 m relay team that set the new school record are: Curtis Anderson, Kory Kohlhof, Justin Parrish, and Derek Baden with a time of 44.7. Kory Kohlhof improved on his record time in the 200 m, as he took second with a time of 22.2.

HS Track teams place well at Fremont Bergan Invite/New School record

Both high school track teams did well as they both finished in 4th place out o 10 teams on Tuesday, May 1st. The highlight of the meet was that Kory Kohlhof broke another school record! He ran the 200 m in a time of 22.3 which breaks the old record held by Andrew Hamann when he won this event (and the 100m and 400m) at State in 2008. Congrats Kory! The team will be in action again this Saturday at the Conference Meet held in David City.

HS Track highlights from the Cougar Invite

The HS track team was in competition on Tuesday, April 24th at the Cougar Invitational held at Conestoga High School. Some highlights of the day include Kory Kohlfhof winning the 100m in a time of 11.0 and the 200m in 22.5. In the 200m Tarynn Rozanek and Mickalea Oneth took 1st and 2nd places respectively. The 400 m relay team of Tarynn, Claire Dull, Kassidy Nuttleman, and Mickalea took 1st. The 4 x 400 m relay team of Hannah Bassett, Mickalea Oneth, Claire Dull, and Tarynn took 1st as well.

After a very sunny but windy day, the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors Track team completed well on Tuesday, April 17th.  Those placing in the top 3 in their events were:  Tarynn Rozanek - 1st in the 200 m, Kory Kohlhoff 2nd in the 100m and  200 m, Katie Klein 2nd in the high jump, Mickalea Oneth - 3rd in the 200m, Ethan Bruggeman 3rd in the 3200 m run.  The girls 400 m relay took 2nd place honors as well, which includes Tarynn, Claire Dull, Kassidy Nuttleman, and Mickalea.  Also our girls weightman's relay took 1st place (they were given candy bars instead of medals)!&nbs

HS Track Results - Tues, Apr. 10

The HS Track teams were in competition at Yutan this week. Some highlights of the meet were that senior Kassidy Nuttleman placed 1st in three events, winning the 100 m hurdles, 300 m hurdles, was a member of the 400 m relay which included Tarynn Rozanek, Claire Dull, and Mickalea Oneth. Both teams had numererous 2nd place finishes. The team had over 20 athletes perform their personal bests for the year, so congrats to both teams!
