"Do It Anyway".

In the final lines of Mother Teresa's prayer (Do It Anyway) it reads, "Give the best you've have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. it was never between you and them anyway." Mrs. Ziegler introduced this prayer to the students to motivate them give everything your in everything you have to give. Who cares what people do to offend you or knock over relationships and talent you have built for years. Ignore them and build it anyway because it doesn't matter what people say because the product is between you and God.

Honoring Him - FCA message on Tuesday, 3/22

Joshua 24:14 says, "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD."

Make Change, Beat Cancer

Acts 20:35 says, "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Director Pam Lamberty of the Pennies for Patients foundation came and spoke at the last FCA meeting. She made aware of the many children in the state of Nebraska who are facing Leukemia (blood cancer). This is a difficult cancer to overcome and these kids need your help.

Pennies for Patients

During the month of March the FCA members will be carrying a collection box around school, collecting money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. The funds help raise money for the children in Nebraska that have been affected by cancer. Please save your change and place it in one of their boxes to help out this cause.

FCA Huddle Mtg.

We will have a representative from the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society as our guest speaker,  telling us about Pennies for Patients.

1 Corinthians 9:24- "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win." As Christians we face struggles. We compete against Satan everyday. We have to trust in God and He will help us win the competition against Satan. Because of Him we will have success. We do not need to beat other Christians in a race because it is not a race against each other. God wants us to help each other to the finish line. Don't ever give in to the devil and quit the race for Christ. Give the race all you have.

Using a Good Technique with God

On Tuesday morning, January 25, many athletes gathered at the FCA meeting. Mrs. Ziegler's topic was about have a "Good Technique." In sports we watch film or while lifting weights, we look in the mirror so that we have the opportunity to correct our faults and see what we are doing wrong. The film and mirror help guide us so we can practice new and better techniques. Sometimes the new technique doesn't stick and old habits are slipped back into, but that is why you must repeat viewing the faults and practicing repeatedly.
