Other than teaching, Mr. Weishaar enjoys volleyball, woodworking, cooking, yard work, boating, and spending time with his wife. Mr. Weishaar is married to Kara, a Lincoln Lutheran alumni, and they live in Omaha, NE.

HS Jazz Band Concert and Picnic

HS Jazz Band Concert and Picnic May 8, 6-7:30 pm

HS Jazz Band will host a concert and picnic on Friday, May 8 from 6:00-7:30 pm outside, on the East side of the building next to the tables and grassy area.

High School music students perform at District Music Contest

On April 23rd and 24th Lincoln Lutheran solos and ensembles both participated in the NSAA District Music Contest in Milford.

On the first day, Choir received a Division 1 rating on their performance. Following them was Josh Wendland on a tuba solo along with Grace Kohnke on a flute solo. Last event of the day was the percussion ensemble who received another Division 1.

HS & MS Spring Concert

HS/MS Spring Concert May 12, 7pm

The HS & MS Choir and Band will be presenting their Spring Concert Tuesday, May 12th at 7 pm. 

7th and 8th grade band receives superior rating

On Thursday, March 26th the Lincoln Lutheran 7th and 8th grade band participated in the Crete Middle School Band Festival. At this event the band received a superior rating for their performance of Old Irish Tune by Larry Daehn and Etowah by Brian Balmages. Along with the large band, four small ensembles performed for judges. These students include: Jacob Meyer, Gage Canfield, Noah Stueber, Tyler Scholz, Ryan Hlavaty, Tanner Lebo, Kyle Luebbe, Andrew Lofgren, Lydia Grimpo, and Alyssa Barnhouse.

Singing Valentines Recap

The Lincoln Lutheran choir was busy on Friday, Feb. 13th!  They sold and delivered 27 singing valentines orders this year.  Initially, 25 orders were received, but people approached the choir while they were out and about and asked if they could fit a couple more into the schedule.  A total of 29 students participated who were divided into two groups, and (among other places) sang for people at Gracepoint, Messiah, Pershing Elementary, a few people's residences, and even locations around Seward.

Middle School Students sing in UNO Honor Choir

On January 9th, three Lincoln Lutheran middle school choir students had the opportunity to attend the University of Nebraska Omaha's annual Middle School Honor Choir Festival. Tanner Lebo, Jacob Meyer, and Isaac Loewe were accepted into the group with the help of choir director Sam Eschliman. Over 375 regional middle school students auditioned for the group of only 80 singers. Congratulations to these young men as they represented Lincoln Lutheran through their musical talents.
