Varsity Volleyball Results - Malcolm Tourney

The Warriors volleyball team won the Malcolm tournament on Saturday (9/8) by going 3-0 for the day. They defeated Milford, Elmwood-Murdock, and Malcolm, going 2-0 in each match. Hope Leimbach broke the school set assist record as well. Congratulations ladies! Tomorrow night (Tues. 9/11) they take on the Auburn Tigers here on their home court at 5,6 and 7pm.

HS Softball Results - Hastings 9/8

The Crete/Lincoln Lutheran softball team split a doubleheader on Saturday in Hastings against Hastings St. Cecilia's. The Hawkettes were behind the Cardinals until late in the game when their catcher hit a 3 run bomb to give them the lead in the game. The Cards lost the first game 6-4. In the second game of the day, Coach Shawn Carr made some lineup changes including moving Kaitlyn Wendt to lead-off batter. The bats woke up for the Cards as they won the second game 13-2. For the day Leah Jurgens went 3 for 6 with 1 RBI and Kaitlyn Wendt went 4 for 6 with 1 RBI.

HS Softball results from 9/6: The softball team beat both Schuyler 11-2 & Aurora 6-1

HS VB Results

The LL Warriors varsity team won their first night of matches in pool play at the Malcolm Torurnament 26-24, 25-15 over Ashland  Greenwood, and in the second match over Conestoga 25-8, 25-6. Marriah Buss led in kills in the AG match, Hope Leimbach had 4 ace serves  and Buss and Erin Williams had 11 digs. In the second match, LL had a total of 19 ace serves! Erin Williams led the way with 4 of them.

HS VB Results

Lincoln Lutheran defeated Lincoln Christian in volleyball tonight 3-0. We won all 3 sets in the dual 25-20, 25-12, 25-19. Marriah Buss led in kills with 21, and Josie Puelz contributed 9 kills. Hope Leimbach put up 27 set assists and Erin Williams had 22 digs and 3 ace serves. Lexie Kreizel also had 3 ace serves. The Warriors are now 5-0 on the season! Next match is tomorrow as they start the Malcolm Tournament which runs on Thursday and Saturday. JV lost in 2 sets but both were very close.

LL Softball Results 9/1

Congratulations to the Crete/LL Softball team on their 2 wins and one loss at the Wahoo Tournament this Saturday, 9/1. The girls started with a 1-3 loss to Wahoo, but made quick changes and finished with a strong 12-3 win over Ashland Greenwood. They finished off the day with a hard fought 5-4 win over a strong Waverly team. Congratulations ladies!
