If you are considering enrolling your child in Christ Schools for the upcoming 2011-12 school year in Kindergarten-Grade 5, then you will want to mark your calendars for Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 pm in the Christ Schools Library, 43rd & Sumner.  You can learn more about Christ Schools’ programs and curriculum, meet its staff and tour our facilities.  Registration for the 2011-12 school year begins on Wednesday, Feb.

Co-ed Youth Basketball Fun and Fundamentals

Sundays, beginning Oct. 10 from 4:30-6:00pm, Faith Lutheran Church (87th & Adams) will host basketballers in grades 3-8.  Come and work on your basketball fundamentals in a low-pressure, fun environment!  Bring a dollar, a basketball, your gym shoes and your friends!  Proceeds will go toward purchasing new basketball equipment for Faith School.  Please contact Shane Larsen (890-8434) or Pat Hardesty (450-3779) if you have questions.

Hincker Family Fundraiser

A Soup Lunch Fundraiser will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner St., on Sunday, December 6, 2009, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, (lower level) for the Steve Hincker family.  Steve, single parent of Tessa (6th grade), and Seth (8th grade), both students at Lincoln Lutheran Middle/High School, was diagnosed with cancer in October.  The menu will be: Chicken Noodle Soup, Rolls, Veggies, and Homemade Desserts.  A FREE WILL offering  will be taken of which the proceeds will be matched by Thrivent Financial's Care Abounds in Communities program. Lincoln Lutheran families can help by bringing pies.  Volunteers are also needed.  If you would be able to help in any way, please contact Principal Linda Becken at: lbecken@christlutheranchurch.org.

Ms. Jesse Wisroth

Jesse Wisroth was born and raised in Crawford, Nebraska.  The daughter of a Lutheran pastor, Wisroth moved with her family to Saratoga, Wyoming, when her father took a Call to the dual parish there.  In Saratoga, she attended public middle and high school, graduating in 2005.
