Jeremy Wiemer - OPS Teacher

Congratulations to Lincoln Lutheran alumni, Jeremy Wiemer ('01), on being awarded the 2021 Alice Buffett Outstanding Teacher Award!

This year's winners were acknowledged for "having taught through a pandemic, learned to innovate and be flexible as new challenges and changes arose." The award, which included monetary gifts, has been awarded each year since 1988 and is given to Omaha Public Schools nominees with at least two years of teaching experience.

Jeremy has been an Industrial Technology teacher at Omaha North for 13 years.

The award is named for Alice Buffett, an aunt of Omaha investor Warren Buffett, who taught high school home economics in OPS for more than 35 years.
