Crete-LL Girls Softball Class B State Champs!

Join us in congratulating Leah Jurgens (Lincoln Lutheran Freshman) and the rest of the Crete-LL co-op softball team on their State Championship in Class B Softball! The team went undefeated in the state tournament that was held last week in Hastings. The Cardinal's final face off, was against a very tough Seward Blue Jays team with the final score being 12 to 2! This season was the first season for the Crete-LL softball co-op and we look forward to having even more students join Leah next season! Congratulations Leah on a great season!

2017 Girls Soccer Team Earns Awards

Join us as we congratulate the 2016-2017 LL Girls Soccer team as they were awarded two post season honors. The Lutheran All American Association awarded the team with a Gold Award for Team Ethics and Sportsmanship. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America awarded the team with a Platinum certificate for Team Ethics. We would also like to congratulate two individual team players for their excellence throughout the year. Rachael Garbe was named to 1st Team All-American and Gabby Mason was named to 2nd Team All-American by the L.A.A.A

Crete-LL Girls Softball District Champs!

Congratulations goes to LL's Leah Jurgens and the whole Crete-LL co-op Softball team as they won Districts on on Saturday (10/7) and have advanced to the state tournament in Hastings starting Wednesday (10/11).  They will play at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, but the opponent is unknown due to two teams who had to postpone their games last week due to the weather.

2017 Distinguished Alumni Award

    Linda (Sayer) Ahrens

Linda Ahrens (Sayer) is a 1983 graduate of Lincoln Lutheran Junior High. She went on to attend both Lincoln Northeast High School (’86) and Concordia University, NE (’90) where she received a degree in Elementary Education. After serving one year as the preschool director at Cathedral in Lincoln, Linda served Zion Lutheran, Hastings from 1992-2004.

The Girls golf placed 2nd at Districts.

The Girls golf team placed second at the C1 District Championship Tuesday, October 3rd at Hidden Valley Golf Course.  The girls shot a season low team total of 401 for their runner-up finish to Lincoln Christian who shot 391.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who carded a personal best 92 to finish in 2nd place overall.  Sophia Fahleson shot a 94 to place 3rd and Grace Fahleson shot a 105 to finish 9th.  Natalie Barrett completed the team scoring with a 110 to help the Lady Warriors qualify for State for the seventh straight year!  State begins nex

5th Grade Visit Day - Oct. 11

Wednesday, October 19th, Lincoln Lutheran will be holding our annual 5th Grade Visit Day from 1-3 pm. All 5th grade students who are interested in attending LL next year are invited to participate. Fifth graders who are currently attending one of the Lutheran grade schools in town are already scheduled to attend this event. If you have a student who is a 5th grader, but not currently enrolled at one of the Lutheran grade schools, please contact Kristin Bennett at kbennett@lincolnlutheran.org or call us at 402-467-5404.

See You At the Pole 2017

September 27th, at 7:30 am, may Lincoln Lutheran students will gather around the flagpole at the front of the school to pray. All around the globe millions of students will gather at their flagpoles to pray for their communities, loved ones, friends, schools, businesses and churches. For over 25 years, "See You at the Pole" has been dedicated to getting Christian students involved in prayers.

7th Grade Field Trip to Nebraska City

The 7th grade class had an exciting trip to Nebraska City on Friday, September 15.  Our 69 7th graders and their chaperones spent the morning exploring the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and the trails surrounding the area.

"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Please join the Lincoln Lutheran High School Drama Department, as they present You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown for the 2017 HS fall musical.  Charles Schulz’s beloved comic comes to life in this Clark Gesner’s musical. The whole gang is here: bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder who doesn’t give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally is still mocking blanket-toting Linus, Snoopy is in the doghouse, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form.

Grandparent's/Grandfriends Day Celebration

We love to celebrate Grandparent's/Grandfriends week and on Thursday, September 7th, we got to celebrate with over 230 of our favorite people. This year, our Grandparents/Grandfriends joined us for a morning of coffee, juice and rolls as well as presentations by our Executive Director Scott Ernstmeyer, Principal Matt Heibel and Directory of Ministry Advancement, Lloyd Wagnitz. The Grandparents then got to meet up with their students, and joined the entire school for a special chapel led by Dr. Ross Stueber.
