Summer is just around the corner and you are probably planning for and filling up your summer schedules. Lincoln Lutheran is proud to be offering 14 Discovery Camps (Grades 3-6th), 17 Athletic day camps (Grades 3-12), Wrestling (Grades K-12), as well as our Middle School and High School Strength and Conditioning programs this summer! Joint Lutheran High School Concert

The Lake County Lutheran High School Band from Hartland Wisconsin will play a concert at Christ Lincoln Lutheran Church this Thursday at 7:30. This concert is part of their Spring tour and will feature our own Lincoln Lutheran High School Band on a few pieces. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate music and the shared ministries of Lutheran schools across the country.

Cornhusker Girls State Reps!

The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary's 2019 Cornhusker Girls State Representatives have been announced. Congratulations to Lincoln Lutheran Juniors, Alayna Bergt, Kelly Kohlhof, Hannah Ernst, Gretchen Stennett & Paige Trutna on being chosen this year! The representatives will gather in Lincoln this summer for a week filled with opportunities to learn more about state and local government, community service and citizenship.

Doug Wiemer Retires from Military Service

Friday, March 9, 2019, will be Master Sergeant Doug Wiemer’s final day of service to the Nebraska Air Guard. He has served in the U.S. military for 40 years, including more than 30 years in the Air Guard stationed in Lincoln, NE. The remainder of his service was in the Army Guard while stationed in Crete, NE. Doug has been deployed for active duty eight times throughout the course of his service. The Warrior family would like to thank Doug for his 40 years of service to our country, as well as for his continued service to Lincoln Lutheran.

Senior Grant Donovan - US Presidential Scholars Program Candidate

Congratulations, to LL Senior Grant Donovan on being named as one of more than 4,500 candidates in the 2019 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U. S high schools this year.

Colby was joined at the signing by his parents, friends and Lincoln Lutheran teammates who have all been a support system for him over the past four years. Tommy Nabity Signs with CUNE

Congratulations to LL Senior Tommy Nabity who signed with the CUNE Bulldog Wrestling team on Thursday, January 24, 2019!  He was joined at the signing by his parents, several LL staff and students, his current LL coaches as well as the CUNE wrestling coaches. Tommy is the first Lincoln Lutheran Warrior to sign to compete in wrestling at the collegiate level. Congratulations Tommy, we pray that your years competing at Concordia are filled with much success!

Grace Soenksen signed with Concordia.

Congratulations to Grace Soenksen! She signed to play soccer for the Bulldogs at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. The signing ceremony took place at Lincoln Lutheran on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019. Grace was joined by her family and friends and Coach Gosselin who has been a great support system throughout the years. We want to wish Grace God's richest blessing on her college career at Concordia.

Marriah Buss Gatorade Player of the Year

The Gatorade Company, today announced Marriah Buss of Lincoln Lutheran High School as its 2018-19 Gatorade Nebraska Volleyball Player of the Year. Buss is the first Gatorade Nebraska Volleyball Player of the Year to be chosen from Lincoln Lutheran High School. The award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, distinguishes Buss as Nebraska’s best high school volleyball player.

Job Openings for 2019-2020

Lincoln Lutheran is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2019-2020 school year:

2019-2020 Assistant HS Cheerleading Coach

This position requires attending practices 2-3 times per week, all football games & home volleyball and basketball games, helping to coach the cheerleaders for State cheer competition in February and attending summer camp.  If interested please contact Joel Brase at or 402-467-5404.
