Mr. Ziems' Leadership Club practices servant leadership

Every Thursday, the 16 middle school students who are part of the Leadership Club walk to Trinity Elementary and do play-oriented learning activities with both Mrs. Mrs Leimbach's kindergarten class and Mrs. Christiansen's pre-school class (at least the ones who are awake at that time).  The purpose of the Middle School Leadership Club is to develop a mindset of servant leadership in our students.

One-Act Finishes 4th at Districts

Congratulations go out the Lincoln Lutheran One-Act participants for receiving a Superior Rating and finishing 4th at the District One-Act competition Monday, 11/26 at Midland University! This is the first year back for the LL One Acts after several years of hiatus in competing. The group did an excellent job with cast members Adler Rickords, Melanie Moore and Alyssa Barnhouse receiving individual recognition and honorable mentions. 

Thankful Turkeys Raises $251

Thanks to all who purchased "Thankful Turkeys" during the month of November!  The MS and HS Student Council sold paper turkeys for $1, and people wrote things for which they are thankful for on them to add to the display in the East Entrance hallway.  With the proceeds, we were able to give a check for $251 to the People's City Mission right before Thanksgiving, which paid for 100 meals they were able to serve to those who are at their shelter.  They were very appreciative of the gift, and your generosity was a blessing to many!

Logan Eschliman signs with Concordia

Congratulations to Logan Eschliman! On Thursday, November 15, Logan signed to play golf with the Bulldogs at Concordia University, Seward. The signing took place at Lincoln Lutheran. Colton Meyer Signs with CUNE

Congratulations to Colton Meyer! He signed to run Track & Field for the Bulldogs at Concordia University, Nebraska. The signing ceremony took place at Lincoln Lutheran on Monday, Nov. 12. Colton was joined by mother, brother, coaches and friends! We want to wish God's richest blessing to Colton in his college career at CUNE!

Warriors VB Finish State Runner-Up

Congratulations and a big shout out to the varsity volleyball team as they made it to the championship match of the 2018 Nebraska State volleyball tournament. The team made it an exciting match, as they came out strong and took down #1 seed Wahoo  25-18 in set 1. But then the opponents came back and took sets 2 and 3, 25-20, 25-14. Our  Lincoln Lutheran Warriors did not quit, as they pushed their way back and took down Wahoo in set 4, 25-21.  In the fifth set, LL was down 3-0, yet pushed back and had the score at 7-6.

Lincoln Lutheran Fans Receive Sportsmanship Award

A big congratulations go out to the LL Student Body as well as the LL Fans who came out to the State Tournament to cheer on the LL Warrior Volleyball team! At the close of the tournament, Lincoln Lutheran won the State Volleyball Sportsmanship Award for showing class and school spirit throughout the tournament! The award is decided upon by a select group of ADs who attend all the State games and watch both the student body as well as the fans and players giving or deducting points based on a variety of criteria including creativity and positive support for their team.

Warriors Volleyball District Champions!

Congratulations to the LL Warriors Volleyball team. On Saturday at Raymond Central HS, the Warriors swept Ashland-Greenwood in three sets to be named the C1-1 District Champions. With the District Championship, the Warriors are headed to State with a #2 Seed. They will face off against Columbus Scotus on Thursday, Nov. 8th at 3:30 pm at North Star High School. In order to allow faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to cheer on our Warriors, classes on the 8th will finish at 2:30 pm.

Jacob Meyer accepted into Naval Academy

Congratulations to Jacob Meyer who has been accepted into admission to the US Naval Academy located in Annapolis Maryland. This is a huge honor as the Academy only has a 9% acceptance rate. Admission is granted based on a number of qualifications and applicants must have a nomination made by a US Senator or Congressman or by Presidential Nomination, Jacob received a Presidential Nomination. Jacob has been active in both the Civil Air Patrol as well as the AFJ ROTC program.
