Lincoln Lutheran is committed to providing opportunities for students to develop their God-given talents through participation in athletics. Our athletics program serves as a valuable component of the overall mission of the school. We strive for excellence both in and out of competition. With a focus that instills Christian character, our students will develop values that equip them to lead a life of service. Above all, we aim to glorify God through our words and actions.

As a member of the Nebraska Schools Activities Association (NSAA), Lincoln Lutheran teams compete in the well-respected Centennial Conference, where every conference member is a Christian school. We offer 21 high school sports and activities and more than 50 teams and groups for students in grades 6-12.

All of our students are encouraged to participate in activities. Research has shown that students who participate in activities are more likely to demonstrate success in post-secondary education. All of our activities are designed to enhance the mission of Lincoln Lutheran.

NSAA Eligibility for High School

Students must meet the domicile requirements of the NSAA during their initial semester of attendance at Lincoln Lutheran to be eligible for all varsity activities involving inter-scholastic varsity competition. The Activities Director will determine the status of each new student. Students must have successfully completed 20 credits (4 academic classes) during the previous semester to be eligible for participation under NSAA guidelines.

Academic Eligibility Requirements for Middle & High School

Student academics are given priority over activities. Academic checks will be made every week beginning the 4th week of each quarter. If a student is failing more than one class, they will be ineligible until they are no longer failing more than one class. Eligibility will be reinstated when a student is passing all or all but one of their classes.

Lincoln Lutheran offers a wide variety of youth (6th grade) sports opportunities through the Champions Program. More information on what opportunities exist for youth sports can be found on the Champions Website
