Senior Boys Basketball leading chapel

Over the course of the past few weeks, the seniors of Lincoln Lutheran's Boys Basketball team, have gone to some of the association elementary schools to lead chapel. This year they lead chapel at Messiah, Trinity and Faith Lutheran. The seniors' chapel centered around their team's theme verse of "Standing Strong" based on 1 Corinthians 16:13. Their presentation gave the elementary students the chance to participate while learning about the importance of standing strong in our faith as a community of believers.

Leading chapels has become a bit of a tradition for some of the Senior athletes. It is a unique opportunity for Lincoln Lutheran students to share a bit of their faith with some of the schools they attended when they were young. The elementary students enjoy getting to meet some of the LL Warriors they have seen playing on the court as each chapel ends with a meet-and-greet with the between the students.

The student-led chapel was completely put together and led by these Seniors: (Back row) Luke Volin, Ethan Zager, Kyle Luebbe, (Front row) Tice Jenkins, Andrew Lofgren & Tanner Lebo.

We would like to thank our association schools for inviting our Seniors to lead chapel. A big thanks goes out to Senior Andrew Lofgren's mom Amy, for organizing things for the boys.
