Wade Coulter

Lincoln Lutheran is very excited to announce Wade Coulter as our next Head Girls Basketball Coach.

Coach Coulter is a graduate of Columbus High School, completed his Social Science Education undergraduate coursework at Peru State College, and obtained a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.  While at Peru State he was a member of the Bobcat football team earning NAIA Academic All-American honors his senior season.  Wade has been teaching World and US History at Columbus Scotus since 2009, while also serving as a multi-sport coach.  As a girls basketball assistant, Coach Coulter has helped guide the Shamrocks to 6 district finals, 3 state tournament appearances, and a Class C1 State Championship in 2018.  He feels the privilege of working alongside great coaches and administrators has enabled him to grow immensely as an educator, coach, and become a better person.

“Having the opportunity to operate in a faith-filled environment around quality people and competing in the Centennial Conference has been a wonderful experience, and those same qualities have drawn me to Lincoln Lutheran.  The goal for each and every member of our program is to at all times ‘be the best you, so we can be the best us’, and I’m ecstatic to go to work leading the Warriors as we strive to not only be better on the court, but more importantly as people representing and glorifying God to the peak of our capabilities.”
