Katie Bockelman

Congratulations to Lincoln Lutheran's Middle & High School Social Studies teacher, Katie Bockelman on being bestowed with The Master Educator Award from Concordia University-Nebraska during their 2021 Commencement Honors Dinner on May 7th. 

The Master Educator Award is bestowed upon those who have distinguished themselves through lengthy, outstanding service in educational ministry. 

Katie Bockelman (Ms. B to the student body) has been a beloved teacher of Social Studies at Lincoln Lutheran since 1994. She currently serves as the faculty sponsor for the Student Council, Assistant Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, is the American Red Cross Blood Drive coordinator at school, and also teaches middle-level social studies methods courses at Concordia. In the past, she served as the Journalism and Yearbook adviser at Lincoln Lutheran, taught for 17 summers at the "Bright Lights Summer Enrichment" program in Lincoln.  

We are so blessed to call Katie Bockelman one of Lincoln Lutheran's own, and are thankful for her many years of excellent teaching and ministry.
