On August 23, 2019, Lincoln Lutheran's own Jeff Schoettlin, went back to school! Mr. Schoettlin joined 25 other men to begin their studies in the SMP (Specific Ministries Pastor) at the Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis. This four-year program through the Seminary prepares these men to serve as LCMS pastors in specific ministry areas. While taking online classes through CTS, Mr. Schoettlin will work with his assigned Pastoral Mentor Rev. Dr. Luke Schnake, Christ Lincoln. Completion of this program will allow Mr. Schoettlin to serve at Lincoln Lutheran and expand our ministry adding a Chaplin to our program. Please keep Mr. Schoettlin in your prayers in the days and years to come that this program will be a blessing to him and to Lincoln Lutheran.
