On Saturday, January 11th, Lincoln Lutheran played host site for the Bi-Annual Clothing Giveaway. Once again, thanks to the generosity of our Lincoln Lutheran community, there were several people blessed with clothing, shoes, small household goods, books and toys. Sheila Ziems, who has been organizing these giveaways for a number of years now wanted to thank everyone who donated to this event.
"THANK YOU so much for your outpouring of generosity for the January 11th clothing giveaway at Lincoln Lutheran. We had a lunchroom filled with wonderful donations. Our guests were thrilled with their new items and each family went away with huge bags. We had grateful representatives from the refugees, home school and Hispanic/ESL communities, the People's City Mission, others from our Lutheran grade schools, as well as members of our LL family. All were so thankful. The toys/books were a huge hit and entertained the kiddos so parents could "shop"!!

Thanks so much to LL for allowing this event to take place. Look for the next event to take place late spring/early summer. Great time to do that spring cleaning!
