On Thanksgiving morning, November 23rd, Lincoln Lutheran is hosting their 3rd annual Turkey Trot. The event is a fun run/ alumni gathering benefitting Warrior Athletics, Track & Field, and Cross Country teams.
You can sign up to run or walk a 2-mile course and also sign the kids up for a “campus lap” (approx 0.5 miles). There will be coffee, hot cocoa and pre-race donuts in the gym.
Can't make it? There's a virtual option. Get the shirt, support the cause, and run on your own.

WHERE: Lincoln Lutheran Middle/High School, 1100 N 56th St, Lincoln, NE
WHEN: Thursday, November 23rd. Bib and t-shirt pickup starts at 7:45 am.
RACE TIMES: 8:45 am: Kids Campus Lap, 9:00 am: 2-mile
COST: 2-mile race, $25 per entry Virtual, $20 per entry Kids Campus Lap, $15 per entry
ALL Entries submitted by 12 pm on 11/9 include a long-sleeve event t-shirt. After 11/9, t-shirt not guaranteed. Sizes Available: YM, YL, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
We won’t be providing official timing or awards, because it's all about fun and gathering with Warrior alums, but we WILL have clock on you!
Both the kids’ “Campus Lap” and the 2 mile will start in the same place behind the portable classrooms in the grass playing fields. The kids lap will follow the perimeter of the Lincoln Lutheran grass playing fields ending where it started. The 2 mile will take that playing field lap then continue along the tree line to the MOPAC trail on 56th, taking the trail to Cotner then a reverse pivot and returning from where you came!
