On Wednesday, September 3 Lincoln Lutheran Middle/High School officially broke ground on the upcoming Warrior Wellness Center, a major step forward in our schoolβs ongoing commitment to supporting the health and development of every student: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Planned as part of the schoolβs broader Warrior Wellness Initiative, which began in 2023, the new facility will serve students in grades 6β12, regardless of athletic participation. It's a bold investment in helping students grow into healthy, balanced individuals prepared for life beyond the classroom.
A Space for Every Warrior
The Warrior Wellness Center will feature:
Over 11,000 square feet
An indoor turf area
A track lane for fitness training
A fully equipped weight room
Two multipurpose classrooms
Office space for staff and student wellness services
This new space will allow for expanded programming in physical education, strength and conditioning, and mental health support, benefiting all students, not just those involved in sports.
Supporting Wellness in Every Dimension
The Warrior Wellness Center isnβt just about fitness, itβs about fostering a school culture that values whole-person health. Whether itβs physical activity, emotional resilience, or spiritual growth, the facility will provide new opportunities for students to build habits that last a lifetime.
A Community-Powered Vision
The total cost of the project is projected at $2.1 million, with a little over $381,000 already raised through generous private donations. Lincoln Lutheran continues to seek support from families, alumni, and community partners who believe in the mission of developing strong, well-rounded young leaders. The Warrior Wellness Center is slated to open in early 2026, ushering in a new era of student wellness at Lincoln Lutheran.
