These young people from LL recently attended the annual Nebraska Walk For Life. Thousands gathered to publicly proclaim the sanctity of life and the love of Jesus Christ. Balloons were released at the State Capitol building with each balloon representing an aborted baby.

It is Conference Basketball for both the Boys and Girls Basketball teams Tonight and tomorrow (1/24 & 25). Both games will be at LL at 6:30 pm. Tonight, the Boys host Scotus CC and Tuesday, the Girls will host Aquinas/Neumann. Both games will be on the LL STRIV account.

With the busyness in the mornings with numerous calls about ill students as well as the normal hustle that occurs in the office in the mornings, if you need to let us know that your student is ill, or needs to leave early for an appointment, we would strongly suggest you would EMAIL us at frontdesk@lincolnlutheran.org. This allows us to verify we have everyone responded to and all symptoms and times properly recorded etc. If you are contacting us about a sick student we need the following information, name of the student, list of symptoms with a timeframe of onset, and whether your student plans on zooming for the day. We appreciate your patience as we work through this challenging time!

Congratulations to the 20-21 LL Girls Soccer team on receiving for the second year in a row, the United Soccer Coaches organization's "Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award" as well as their "Pinnacle Award" for achieving recognition in the classroom with a Team Academic Award and recording a winning percentage of .75 or higher during the season. The "Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award" goes to teams who exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game as reflected by the number of yellow and red cards given to the team throughout the season. LL/RC Warriors proudly only received 1 yellow card - the first one in 4 years! Congratulations Warriors! The award will be given out at the USC Coaching Convention next week in KC.
Reminders for Week of 1/17: A quick reminder that Monday is a No School day for MLKing Jr. Day. We will resume normal classes Tuesday 1/18. Tuesday night is Future Freshman Night - all students planning on attending LL (both current and prospective) as a new High School student (9th grade) should plan on attending this night. Report Cards will be sent out via email Friday (1/7) afternoon. Families with more than one student will receive a separate email for EACH student.
