Congratulations to Freshman Sophia Smith on being chosen for CUNE Musical Arts day as well as for being chosen for the All-State Band!
CUNE's Musical Arts day is comprised of an auditioned choir and band comprised of students from all over the state, who come to workshop a few pieces and then host a concert at the end of the day. CUNE's Musical Arts day is this Friday (11/12).
The All-State Band is a by-audition ensemble in which students must audition by playing a prepared piece in a live (one shot) recording. This is a huge accomplishment for Sophia, who will be playing clarinet for both bands. Congratulations, Sophia!
