Have some old laptops or other tech "stuff" lying around the house? Looking to make room? Lincoln Lutheran's Tech Crew will be hosting their Technology Sale on Sat. Nov. 21. You can donate anything that is tech related (laptops and devices have always sold the best) by bringing it to the Lincoln Lutheran Dock on the South East side of the building. Look for the box labeled "Tech Sale". Please include any charging cords when possible. Donations must be made by Nov. 6.

The Winner of the Food Bank Food Fight is... THE HIGH SCHOOL! Thanks so much to all of those who donated coins and dollars. We raised just over $330 to donate to the Lincoln Food Bank to help those in our community who are facing food insecurity. Grades 9-12 StuCo Members will be getting in touch with their classmates this week to plan out a menu of favorite hot lunches to come in the future! Donations can still be given online by going to this link: https://www.lincolnfoodbank.org/foodfight/ Thanks again for helping to make a CHANGE

Donate your old electronics to Lincoln Lutheran! We'll clean them up, erase any data that you have on them, sell them, and use the money for technology improvements at Lincoln Lutheran. Laptops and tablets sell particularly well, but we'll take anything. Donations should be at Lincoln Lutheran by Friday, November 6th to give us time to get items ready for our Tech Sale on Saturday, November 21st. Contact Mr. Sommerer with any questions: LSommerer@LincolnLutheran.org

We weren't expecting to have to send this out quite this early in the year - but it looks like next week the weather may have some "surprises" in store. We wanted to remind you all how we will send out alerts in the case of an emergency school closure. You will receive a text message, an email alert, a push notification (through the app) and the info will be shared on our Website in the Live News stream. We will also share school closures on 10/11 news and Channel 8 - Look for the Lutheran Schools of Lincoln closure announcements. If you didn't receive a text message, contact the front desk at 402-467-5404 - we need an updated cell phone number! If you haven't downloaded the LL app - don't delay!

For Thursday's Music Concerts, we do not have limitations on who can attend. We do ask you to remain masked the entire time you are in the building. We also ask that you stay with your group when you are sitting and try to space yourselves out. If you are NOT attending both concerts, please exit as soon as the concert is over - we can't have groups gathering to meet with students. Thank you!

We have slowly been moving towards "digital" programs. The reason for the change is in part due to issues with handing things to people and COVID. This also saves us A LOT of personnel time, paper and copy costs over the course of the year. Anyone with a smart phone can scan a QR code. The newest OS will automatically open your QR code reader if you focus your camera on the QR code. Any QR code reader should be able to read our codes. If you need a reliable QR code reader the top rated with iOS and Android is Kaspersky QR Scanner in the App store or QR Scanner in Google Play. Please note, the programs are saved as a .pdf - if you phone isn't able to open a .pdf, you will have issues. Please look for an App that will read .pdfs (most Android and iPhones have this feature built in). We ask that you keep the few copies of programs we will have available for those who don't have a smart phone. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at frontdesk@lincolnlutheran.org

The LL annual "Food Fight" is going to have to look a little different this year. We still want to support the Food Bank of Lincoln, so instead of bringing canned food, the STUCO is sponsoring a "Coin Drive". Each class will have a container to fill with all your lose change. Bring those bills as well and put them in another classes jar - those bills count against that classes total! Let's be generous and show the community of Lincoln we care!
