Athletics Spectator Info for week of 8/31: This week we have home MS VB (9/1) MS FB (9/3) & Varsity FB (9/4). An email will go out from Mr. Brase today outlining specifics for each, but in general here are the basics. At ALL competitions, face coverings will be required by all in spectators and workers. There will NOT be restrictions on who attends; however, we ask that family groups sit together and social distance from others. Note: All children must remain seated (or escorted by) their parents. All passes entries will need to present the barcode located on the back of the pass. (Passes can be purchased using the link in the article below.)
Golf and Volleyball Results for Thursday, 8/27:
The Girls Golf team finished runner-up at the Syracuse Invitational on Thursday. The Lady Warriors shot a team total 414 to finish three shots behind Lincoln Christian. The team was led by Grace Fahleson and Rachael Volin who each carded a 91 to finish tied second in the individual standings.
The Reserve, JV and Varsity Volleyball teams all fought hard and the games were all very close but Class B Waverly was able to hold on for the win.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Picture Day is approaching! Picture day is scheduled for September 18th. All students, whether purchasing a picture packet or not, will have their picture taken. If you would like to purchase photos, you may either fill out an order form (let us know we can send home with student) or you can go to www.DSSchools.com and order. Simply type in "Lincoln Lutheran" and your email and you are good to go. All pictures need to order PRIOR to picture day to avoid a $15 Late Fee.

Updated Spectator Info for First Home Volleyball Game (8/27)
After much discussion, a decision has been made concerning volleyball spectators for at least the first game vs. Waverly. EVERYONE in attendance will be required to WEAR MASKS. The number of spectators will be limited to 5 family members per player and per coach (there will be no band). In addition, 40 LL students will be allowed to attend. There will be a sign up for the students prior to the game. These procedures could change at any time and will be adjusted as needed for future games. Watch for announcements. Football guidelines will be coming soon.

A quick reminder as we are now in full swing around here: If a student either needs to leave early for an appointment, is going to be late to school because of an appointment, or isn't feeling well, we need a parent or guardian to either email frontdesk@lincolnlutheran.org or call us at 402-467-5404 and let us know a) name of student b) reason for absence c) time they need to leave or will return if leaving early or coming late. We will get your student a pass so they can be dismissed on time. Students returning need a Dr./Dentist note saying they were seen.
Parents and Students: A quick reminder that you need to have your lanyard with you EVERYDAY. Find a good spot for it like your vehicle or better yet, your backpack so you have it with you. Parents, this is how students sign in and out of school, pay for lunches as well as sign in and out of Afterschool Care.

Lincoln Lutheran is again helping to organize our Champions Volleyball teams for 3rd-6th grade girls. The teams will play in the YMCA Spirit League, which begins games on Sep 27. Registration is due back to Lincoln Lutheran by Tue Aug 18. Practices will begin in late August with two practices per week held at Lincoln Lutheran. There will also be one pre-season clinic held on Saturday, August 15 from 10:30am-12:00pm put on by our high school coaches and players. This will take place in the Lincoln Lutheran main gym. In accordance with the latest DHM (7/17), as of Monday, 7/20 all guests or student athletes who are at Lincoln Lutheran, must wear a mask. Thank you for helping us stay compliant.
