
Service Hour Opportunity: Lori Lane is coordinating a wheelchair basketball tournament on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, at Madonna ProActive. She is looking for some volunteers to either help run the scoreboard, shot clock and just some various jobs such as hospitality. Volunteers can have as many hours as they would like. The tournament runs 7:45 am-6:00 pm on Saturday and 7:45 am -12:00 pm on Sunday. This is a National Β Wheelchair Basketball Association sanctioned event at D2 level, so competition should be very good. If you are interested, please email Lori Lane atΒ llane@madonna.org.


Congratulations to our One-Act students who competed at Districts on Tuesday, December 3rd. The team received 6th place and felt they competed very well. Maggie Broening, Timothy Backhus and Hannah Vander Top received the Judges Choice Acting Award.


Lincoln Lutheran is participating in the Heritage League's "Holiday of Trees". LL Art students will be decorating a tree. The display will be open for viewing on Thur. 12/5 from 10 - 8 pm and Fri. 12/6 10-7 pm. Admission is $1 and will benefit the Lincoln Music Teachers Association Music Outreach Program. You can view all the decorated trees at Westminister Presbyterian Church on the corner of Sheridan and South Streets.

The Student Council's annual Christmas Angel Tree project is on display once again by the front office. Gifts are donated to the Lincoln Pregnancy Center. To participate, take an ornament off the tree, purchase the gift, and return it unwrapped under the tree by Wed., 12/18.


Reminder that tonight's Basketball Jamboree will be played at the Seward Middle School gym. Park on the east side. Also a reminder that the Boys JV game on Thursday will be played at St. Paul Methodist at 11th & M. There is limited parking in the garage there, so metered street parking is available, or you can use the parking garages a block away.

Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Girls Soccer Team on receiving another post-season award! The team has received the Platinum Team Ethics Award part of the Team Pinnacle Awards from United Soccer Coaches. This designation is awarded to teams who received the Team Ethics award for no yellow or red cards, the team Academic Award as well as had a winning percentage of .75 or higher. Congratulations Ladies!

CUNE is offering HS track athletes the opportunity to participate in pre-season indoor track and field camps as well as an indoor track and field competition series. The 6th-Grade class enjoyed today's lovely weather by participating in the annual Turkey Bowl! Everyone had a blast playing flag football in this friendly competition which is part of their physical education curriculum. #BeMore

Congratulations to Lexie Kreizel. She signed to play volleyball for Concordia University. The signing ceremony took place in the Lincoln Lutheran gym on Wednesday, Nov. 20th. Lexie was surrounded by family, friends and coaches who have been a part of her support system through the years. We want to wish Lexie God's richest blessings on her college career.
