Service Hour Opportunity Monday, January 13 at Messiah Lutheran Church from 6-9 pm in the lower level youth room. Mustard Seed Ministries will be preparing hygiene kits for Days for Girls. Students are welcome to join this group for fellowship and service as we use our hands to prepare and send items that show girls in far away places the love of Jesus and His people by providing for a need. We may also be doing a little sewing which you may participate in if that is your gift or if you would like to improve your skills. Participation in this group meets service hour requirements if your application is approved in advance. Contact Wendy Rich with questions. 402.202.4990

Service Hour Opportunity: Lori Lane is coordinating a wheelchair basketball tournament on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, at Madonna ProActive. She is looking for some volunteers to either help run the scoreboard, shot clock and just some various jobs such as hospitality. Volunteers can have as many hours as they would like. The tournament runs 7:45 am-6:00 pm on Saturday and 7:45 am -12:00 pm on Sunday. This is a National Wheelchair Basketball Association sanctioned event at D2 level, so competition should be very good. If you are interested, please email Lori Lane at llane@madonna.org.

Congratulations to our One-Act students who competed at Districts on Tuesday, December 3rd. The team received 6th place and felt they competed very well. Maggie Broening, Timothy Backhus and Hannah Vander Top received the Judges Choice Acting Award.
